Infinet was born on Melbourne courts - where bare rims and forgotten hoops are part of the landscape. For our team of Product Design Engineers (and lifelong players), it was a problem hiding in plain sight: too many courts missing a simple but essential piece - the net.
That familiar snap when the ball hits the net? It matters. It brings energy to the game and pride to the space. So we got to work.
What began as a sketch has evolved through four generations of design. Each version building on the last - stronger, cleaner, and more considered. We’ve shaped Infinet through real-world testing and feedback from cities, schools, and sporting bodies - alongside the players who use these spaces every day. The result is INFINET V4.0: our most durable, functional, and refined net yet.
This isn’t just an Australian issue. Across the world, neglected hoops are everywhere. Infinet isn’t about changing the game - it’s about restoring what should have always been there.
